John Tatom is the Manager for Explosives Safety Science and Testing at APT Research in Huntsville, Alabama. He is one of the leading minds in explosives safety and written many papers and technical documents for government and private agencies. John Tatum’s presentation will relate to Ammonium Nitrate (AN) and the broader use of IMESAFR – Institute of Makers of Explosives Safety analysis for Risk. An assessment tool used to calculate risk to personnel from explosive facilities.

John Tucker is the Managing Director and Principal Mining Consultant at Mineovation Consulting. A Perth based Underground Mining and Drill and Blast Consultancy Firm. John has substantial experience with Sub level caving, Block caving, Narrow and Large open stope mining.
